Export Limitations

Research International sells its products into numerous countries around the world. If you are an overseas customer, please be aware of the following conditions which may apply to a purchase:

• Regulation: Research International’s products are covered by the U.S. Munitions List and are subject to U.S. Department of State Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
• Export License: Application for a U.S. Department of State export license will start immediately upon receipt of order. Issuance of export license usually takes from eight to twelve weeks.
• Method of Shipment: Delivery shall be made ex works factory, Monroe, Washington. In all cases title shall pass to the Buyer immediately upon delivery to carrier, contingent upon payment in full, and risk of loss or damage to goods in transit shall fall upon Buyer whose responsibility it will be to file claims with the carrier. Under an “ex-works” arrangement, some Buyers tell us which carrier they prefer, providing their account number with the carrier and contact details for us to arrange the shipment.
• Prohibited Exports and Sales to Certain Countries: Research International is prohibited from selling its products to Belarus, Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Syria and Vietnam. This policy also applies to countries with which the United States maintains an arms embargo (e.g., Burma, China, Haiti, Liberia, Somalia and Sudan) or whenever an export would not otherwise be in furtherance of world peace and the security and foreign policy of the United States.
