SASS® 4200
High-Flow Aerosol Concentrator
The SASS® 4200 High-Flow Aerosol Concentrator is a high-volume aerosol concentration device designed for both vehicular applications and fixed installations. A blower-driven concentration device inside the unit pulls air in at a rate of about 4000 LPM. Particulates in the sampled air are transferred to a low flow-rate secondary loop that can be routed other instruments inside the vehicle or building, such as portable samplers or bioanalyzers like the SASS 2300, SASS 3100, or BioHawk LF.
Its rugged, shock-mounted construction makes the SASS 4200 ideal for mounting on a vehicle roof for external collection. It can be rapidly deployed to different locations, providing continuous sampling along a road or border while the vehicle is in motion.
Originally designed for vehicular applications, the SASS 4200 is equally suitable for fixed installations such as building rooftops.
